#7 of 43: Blog on my Blog

the-computer-demands-a-blog

I’ve set up several blogs and rarely have actually done any blogging on them. They’ve all ended up being  just another place that I upload the latest digital images I’ve captured, or posted to in a moment of intense emotion regarding something I’ve read about it the media.

I would like to develop a “ bloggernality”. I’m not sure exactly what that looks or sounds  like, but I can sense it in other blogs that I’ve read. I’m undecided on the content to be included in my blog but I’ll get there. I am thinking all blogs tend to evolve. Nobody find themselves so interesting,  their points of view so profound that they simply ARE bloggers.

For the record, this is the third blog under the title of the Grassi Knoll. This blog  is the first however,  to actually  be registered under the domain name of the Grassi Knoll therefore it trumps the others in importance to me.  I consider this to be  my ALPHA blog. For that reason I wish to remain as anonymous as possible here. I want to be able to write whatever I wish without fear of judgement or critique.

So there it is. This blogger blogged about blogging more on his various blogs, but specifically his ALPHA blog, originating from a post at another blog which blogs his goals one of which is to actively blog.

I’ve already blogged more today than I have in the last 3 years. Goal achieved.

#5 of 43: Graduate from College with an MSW

I need to get the student loans in order and then get into school again. I’m 2 classes shy of my Bachelors in Business administration, but my sights have changed over the last 20 years and I now want an MSW. It’s more in line with my talents of working with people to help them make a better life for themselves despite enormous odds against them.

I quit school 23 years ago just two classes shy of my degree. I’ve had a sour taste in mouth for the last 10 of those years.

*I can and will do this. *

#4 of 43: Read the Bible from cover to cover.

I’ve read a lot of the Bible, but not nearly all of it. It’s time I make it a bigger part of my life and that begins with reading it. It’s so easy for me to miss the mark of who I am and what I stand for. I’ll have to pray for discipline on this one for sure.

#3 of 43 I would like to lose 25 pounds this year.

fat belly

I would like to lose 25 pounds which would put me at 185. I’m 5’10” tall. I know it’s not what the charts say I should weigh, but if I went by the charts I’d look like Christian Bale in the The Machinist.
